Look who is Three

Man it is hard to believe that my baby is three already time has gone by so fast! Karlie has been such a joy in our lives. She keeps us all on our toes. Karlie is so smart and so fun to play with she says the funniest things all the time. She is still a total momma's girl and holds her ground. Her favorite game to play with her Dad is one that she made up called "Go to sleep Pig". Karlie loves learning and loves playing games, play-dough, and coloring. For about a month before her birthday she kept talking about her Birthday and her friends coming over and what she wanted for her Birthday her ears pierced and a ZuZu pet. You could ask her a hundred times and her answer would never change. Well she had a little birthday party she invited her little friends Lindsey, Logan, Braden, and Viviana along with their families. Auntie Sheri and Uncle Eric came with Jacob Ethan and Kaylie. Grandma and Grandpa also came with Haleigh. WE had a great time we went fishing for prizes and had a Mermaid cake and Cherry cupcakes which she begged to have off the flour bag. Karlie got her ZuZu pet but mom is trying to work up the courage to take her to get her ears pierced which she still asks for almost daily. We love you Karlie Happy Birthday!

So another funny laugh for you all. Chris wanted me to go with him and this group he joined for mountain biking so I did. All was good we were having a great time, it was a cold day but you can't go wrong when you are out enjoying God's creations. Well we rode five miles into Folsom, then on the way out I thought it would be fun to try and kill myself. Chris was ahead of me I was the trail sweeper. (I don't like anyone behind me) So anyways I was going up a very small hill with a S turn when I clipped my front fork on a fallen tree log and did a AWESOME flip over the handle bars. It hurt sooooo bad but it was a laugh or cry situation so I laughed till it was hard to breath. Chris was such a good guy he didn't even laugh till I did, and even then I think he was to worried to really laugh. So we finished the ride well sort of, we took the paved trail back. My shoulder was hurting so bad it was hard to breath. When we got to the car Chris asked if I wanted to go to the ER. But Hello we are talking about me I said no I am fine. Well Sunday I couldn't do anything with it, it hurt so bad I had to use my left hand to put my car into gear. So Monday Chris took me to the DR where I got x-ray's and they said it was not broken, I must just have really bad deep bruising. Chris was great he worked from home for a few days to help out with Karlie. He is the best. So now almost two weeks later I still have a scab and bruising on my leg from my bike and my shoulder still hurts a little. So if you ever think about joining this really cool club DON'T!

Just to make you smile

We got some sad news yesterday that Chris' aunt Mary passed away. So I thought some of our Family could use something to make them smile. Karlie has been lots of fun the last week and so here is what she has been up to. Mon. she made half the town think she was lost. Nope just locked herself in the car. Tues. she got sick. Wed she wanted to walk the dog so I thought whats the harm she can walk him in the house, well the dog pulled her down she hit something split her eyebrow open and off to the Dr.'s we go it was stitches or glue we said glue please. Are you laughing yet? if not this is where it gets really good. So on Sun I wanted to make some cookies everyone was helping (you know family fun) so then all the sudden we hear singing we run in the bathroom to find this

She had given herself a bath and the bath was almost about to overflow. She was having the time of her life. Then we told her to let some water out and she discovered that it made a noise. Press pause on the music below and watch how silly she is. So now that you are laughing you probably think I am done. Nope it gets better, Out five children I guess I was bound to have this happen once. Karlie cut her own hair. She was so proud of herself. I was working on a project on the computer and she came in our room with the scissors and said I cut my hair by myself. I just cut her hair for the first time a couple of weeks ago thank goodness so it wasn't that noticeable. I thought she was kidding or just asking to cut her hair but to my surprise when I went out the family room I found her blond little hair all over the floor.

So when you find yourself feeling sad just think to yourself "what is Karlie doing now"

Halloween fun

We had a spooktacular Halloween. We had some friends come over for dinner(chicken and dumplings) and we all went trick or treating together it was a lot of fun. There were fourteen kids in all, what a group to open your door to! Karlie was very cute they would go to give her a piece of candy and she would just reach into their bowl and take out the piece she wanted. She is defiantly a girl who knows what she wants. The kids all had a good time and it was fun to spend time with our friends.
