fun in the sun

Saturday it was HOT HOT HOT it was like 106 so we were happy to go to Grandma Florence's house and swim. We invited our friends the Bradbury's to go with us, the kids all had a wonderful time swimming and it was fun to have my Sister and my nieces and Nephews there. My parents came and brought my Brothers baby she was not sure about the pool though. Chris was on-call for work so he came later the kids were glad when dad got their to play with them. I think the most fun for me would have to be jumping in with the kids it was a lot of fun. Thanks Grandma for having us over. We love you!

Back to School

With all the cuts to education and budget cuts Wheatland Elementary closed and Bear River went to a K-8 school. The Kids are happy to go back to school. Chris and Izzy were bummed to have to give up that Jr. High thing but whatever!

Isabella is a big 8th grader this year she is getting so big and making me feel so old. She is also becoming such a beautiful young woman.

Christopher is in 6th grade and has his first year of having a schedule and is so excited about that. He was so cute this morning I got up at 6:15 this morning to already find Chris, Emily, and Mason completely ready for school. (shoes, backpack the whole get up.) Chris is so cute and becoming such a young man and looks forward to turning 12 and getting the priesthood.

Emily is in 4th grade and so excited to have Mr Shaw. Emily looks forward to having a challenge this year and I sure she will with 33 kids in her class. Its hard to believe she is already in 4th grade.

Mason is in 2nd grade. He was super bummed his two best friends were not in his class but is excited about his teacher Mrs. Gasper. She has some really fun things planned for them this year. For example she did a jungle theme and singed up for a pen-pal program in a small village Africa for the kids to write each other. I think Mason will have a really good year.

I'm A BIG kid now!!!

Well Karlie is officially a Big girl and no longer a baby. She is completely potty trained since the beginning of July no diapers during the day and by mid July she was dry all night. The beginning of Aug she woke me up at 3 am to go potty and after that I knew she was ready the next night she slept in panties It has been a few weeks now NO diapers not even at night. I am so proud of her, she is AMAZING! She has had no accidents at night and only two at the gym for what ever reason she does not like to ask other people to go to the bathroom. She is the youngest at 2 1/2 and I would say the easiest one of my kids to potty train. Yeah Karlie!!!!!

Jelly Belly Factory

Well we had a lot of fun going to the Jelly Belly Factory with our friends last week on August 12. There were 16 kids and 5 mom's it was a lot of fun. We looked like we were on our own field trip. We left at 8am and beat the crowd it was nice we only had to wait a few minutes. The kids all had fun seeing millions of Jelly Belly's and tasting them, but best of all getting to take some home. On the way home we stopped through the outlets it was fun. Thanks to all my friends for a fun day!
